A plangroup is a collection of orders, planlegs, vehicles and trips which belong together.
In the planning screen and in the shipment processing selections to realise and maintain the planning can be made easily, based on these plangroups.
Plangroups are automatically assigned to an order or a sub-section of an order (after splitting). Plangroups can be determined again after splitting a shipment, in this way each sub-section of an order can be placed in a plangroup of choice.
It is also possible to change plangroups manually on a shipment.
All rulesets are bypassed when a manual changed has been made.
Many things are taken care of automatically in the planning by assigning a plangroup. That is why plangroup should be implemented with a consultant before you start using Transpas Enterprise on a daily basis.
The tab sheets shipment filters and trip filters work in the same way. Here other plangroups can be included (providing they are not virtual).
When a plangroup is included through a shipment filter, it means that shipments from that other plangroup are also visible.
Above plangroup Nederland is included in plangroup Dedicated. When in the planning screen plangroup Dedicated is selected, you will also see shipments from plangroup Nederlands in the Unplanned shipments.
