In Transpas it is possible to add several companies. This way, multiple entities can work from the same environment. This has the advantage, among other things, that various matters are easy to share between the various companies, such as relations.
The sharing of relations is set up in the Companies screen under the Company links tab.
The sharing of relations - as well as other data - is set up from the source company; the company in which the data was originally created.
Create a new line for the company with which relations should be shared and set Share relations to Yes.
Relations from the source company, Company Green in the example above, are now visible in the target company, here companies Blue and Orange.
Relation sharing is set up per source company.
Create a similar line in company Blue if relationships need to be shared back and forth.
As mentioned, when relations are shared, the relations will become visible in the target company. The image below shows the relations of company Blue.
The Company column shows GREEN. This means that these relations are shared from the displayed company.
Because companies in Transpas are (or can be) separate financial entities, financial data is not shared. For example, both companies may have a different debtor number or payment term.
A shared financial relation therefore always becomes a 'normal' relation in the target company. To be able to use a shared relation as a creditor or debtor, the relevant relation must also be marked as a debtor and/or creditor in the Relations screen of the target company.
