To register the transfer of goods, Art Systems has developed a web application.
It is compatible with most common handheld terminals and smartphones.
The application is fully configurable via Transpas Enterprise, so that warehouse staff only need to scan.
Below is an impression of the application's screens.
In Transpas, users can be configured with a password to gain access to the application.
All scanning activities are recorded under this user.
Depending on the available modules, the warehouse employee can select the activity to be performed.
A device can be linked to the current scanner, and this is recorded for the session.
Every subsequent user who logs in on the terminal will log in with the same device.
Additionally, the user can switch departments and warehouses if needed.
The default department and warehouse are configured per user in Transpas.
The process of scanning goods depends on the configuration.
For example, in the following screen, a trip and vehicle are optional, but a dock is mandatory:
The scan registration cannot proceed because a dock is mandatory.
The user will see this on the screen and will also hear an error sound:
A dock can be found by entering a code or scanning a barcode, or it can be selected from a list:
The visible fields are configurable in Transpas Enterprise.
A vehicle can be selected by choosing a combination from the trips screen, or if no trip is available, it can be selected from a list of vehicles.
All vehicles that can contain goods are available in the scanning application, and it is easy to search for the correct vehicle.
Vehicle selection can also be done via a barcode pattern.
All stops from the previous working day at the current depot are available to be selected for processing in the application.
In the example below, trip 49097.3 has two units scheduled.
The application allows the user to select which part needs to be scanned.
Once a package is scanned, it becomes "active":
The scan can be confirmed by performing the next scan or by clicking the checkmark.
All visible fields can be configured in Transpas.
Depending on the configured fields, changes can be made:
And if multiple goods lines are selected manually, it is also possible to edit all matching properties at once:
If there is a deviation where it is desirable to take a photo, the warehouse employee can click the photo icon.
One or more photos can then be attached to the record.
In Transpas, it is configurable with which document type this is recorded.
