Normalization is the automatic checking and correction of on-board computer activities. You do this by means of a number of settings and by recording rules.
There are two hidden fields in the normalization group
This allows for customization. For example, when processing waiting time that is hidden in some loading or unloading activities. Then a waiting time of 30 minutes is included in these activities of e.g. 3 hours. With these actions, they can be split before or after normalization.
Maximum duration of the activities to be imported
Usually 24 hours. If the activity is longer than this value, it will not be imported.
‘Undefined’ activity type and maximum duration
Specify here which activity type should be used if an on-board computer activity is not recognized or if nothing has been accounted for by the driver (fill in gaps). If the entered duration is overwritten, these gaps will not be filled in.
Standard residual activity type
The activity type that is selected when correcting the on-board computer hours (e.g. manually adjusting a loading activity. Residual then becomes the activity type selected here.
Standard rest activity type
Activity type that is selected by default when resting
Day type when no compensation
(still to be described)
Normalization rules
Take a look at other customers to see what different rules there are. Two rules must be set by default:
System rule (included in the standard).
Interruption of compensation line based on the location (determined by collective labour agreement).
This rule must be created manually.
