In Transpas it is possible to flag a trip. This means that the trip and all information relating to it (like trip costs) can't be changed anymore.
Flagging trips is useful for:
Purchase When a trip is flagged purchase lines associated with it can't be changed. For instance you can set up purchase invoicing so you can only process purchase lines which have been flagged.
Sales You can set up sales invoicing so you can only invoice shipments which are on trips that have been flagged. In this way the planners can indicate when an order has sufficient information to be invoiced.
Fixing trips When trailers are followed and time calculation is on, trips are placed in order based on the times of the activities in those trips. An error made by a planner / driver can lead to multiple trips being shifted in time. By fixing a trip you prevent this from happening with this trip (this is a setting in the plan group).
Calculating trips The result of a trip can't be changed after a trip has been fixed.
Flagging can be done manual but also automatically.
Undoing the finishing of a trip (providing you are authorised) is done in the same way. Once a trip has been finished, the option in the menu changes to Undo finish trip.
