When dangerous ADR goods are begin driven, you can use the '1000-point-rule'. Transport that uses this rule excludes some demands of ADR, that's why it's often called a limited exemption. This exemption can only be used when transporting piece goods, like cilinders, large packages and IBC containers. The exemption doesn't apply to bulktransport (tanktransport and loose goods).
ADR Points = (Weight in kilogrammes or Volume in litres) * Multiplication factor
The multiplication factor is always determined by Transpas.
The calculation is done according to this logic (In Dutch, source: EVO 2015)
In Transpas the sum of the ADR-points on the goodslines is filled in in the field ADR points on the shipment. This field can be added to a report, if needed.
This wouldn't be very informative, since the points of the entire have to be added up to know whether this is more than 1000 points. (Or the driver has to calculate it, of course.)
There is a field ADR points in the main line of the trip, this states the maximum number of points that is being transported in the trip.
When a certain dangerous stop falls in transport category "0", this can't be transported using the exemption rule. To signal this, it always counts this as a 100.000 points.
